A Club Makes Its Return to Northwest

Mrs. Mercer along with Ms. McCormick recently restarted the Key Club at NWRHS. It is a nationwide service organization sponsored by the Kiwanis Club. In Key Club, members are required to get 25 service hours per semester for a total of 50 hours by the end of the year. The sponsors will be providing the students with opportunities to get a majority of their hours. They just recently had their first meeting on September 6th. The club will meet the first Tuesday of every month during zero block in room B111. Another important thing to note is that through this club, you can get some quality scholarships! Overall, the Key Club is a great way for students to gain some leadership experience, have fun, and commit to being a positive and helpful role in society.
