This year’s BIC Day, or Business in the Classroom, was held on Tuesday, November 1st, and it was a major success! During this event, many community members visited campus to share their experiences and expertise in different career fields. The careers ranged widely, from marketing to engineering to teaching and so much more. 

The speakers gave brief backgrounds of themselves and spoke about the choices that led to their respective careers. Descriptions of each career were given, as well as the education and training that each job required. 

Students were given the opportunity to sign up to hear specific speakers or to stick with the speaker in their classroom. This allowed students the opportunity to learn more about job fields they are specifically interested in. 

Overall, it was a great day, and a wonderful opportunity for the students of Northwest.
