On February 11th, HOSA competed at the district competition at Florence High School. For those who may be unaware, HOSA is a club where students advance their skills in the healthcare field through competitive events. Some people only had to take a test. Others had to test and try to qualify for the skills event. To be eligible for state, you have to place in the top five in your receptive event. Out of the twenty-four who competed, eighteen will go on to the State competition on March 28-March 30. Here is a list of all of the placements:
